RAY GUN
-----------
I’m gonna take in a moment, then start it again
Will you warm my heart and remember when
I had to fall all apart before I knew how to mend
A broken heart that came and went
Is it too much to ask for
I’d pay for it all
My body is calling on a love that I never knew
Like a ray gun that calls out to you
My God, am I falling for a love that I never used
Like a ray gun that calls out for you
When the dream is around I am killing it live
Like a battle scar in the fire light
You’ll find me shaking the ground
In a thunder ride
Like we’re making love in the after life
A darker and more expansive album for an already dark and expansive band. You & I is the aural equivalent of moving through the depths of an empty forest at midnight thrownofan
So glad to hear the Sprinkle Brothers making music together again! I still remember getting into my '78 Monte Carlo in 1993 and putting newly-bought "mindsize" into my CD player for the first time in Cape May Court House, NJ after leaving the bookstore with it. Fantastic EP and I look forward to more! Michael Gross
If you've ever had to Google clumsy phrases to find a word that matched a feeling you could only feebly describe, and you ended up discovering words like hiraeth, sehnsucht, or saudade, The Million Masks of God may be an excellent companion soundtrack to your experience. joel
